Summer 2022 Newsletter

Hi all!

I can’t believe it’s already August! Summer is flying by… that’s usually how it goes.

Just a couple of quick updates…

  1. I’m switching up my billing. Most of my private clients are used to receiving an invoice from Quickbooks. Unfortunately their rates have increased twice in the last year. To avoid passing along those rate hikes, I’ve switched over to using the billing system in my App, which is less per month and has a lower credit card processing fee on my end. The App is called “Trainerize” and they use Stripe billing. So far, it’s been fairly seamless for everyone. If you prefer not to use Trainerize/Stripe, you can always write a check or use cash.

    If you train with me at The Body Lab, you’ll continue to purchase sessions via Mel’s website.

  2. Starting August 1st, I ask that clients schedule and purchase at least 6 sessions up front. My schedule is packed and in order to better plan my time to get where I need to be, I’m asking everyone to take a look at their schedules and plan accordingly. This will help me out and I hope will help my clients with consistency, especially as we all make travel plans this summer and into the fall as school starts ramping up for those with kids.

  3. I’m still training at both The Body Lab and Dorset Physio!

    Reach out if you’d like to schedule sessions at either location. I also still train some private clients at their homes.
